While Kiley and Grant were ‘ma and pa’ on “Trek”, Duane and I got to play with Gabe and Bryce. We had way more fun than they did. We played at the many parks they have near their house, went fishing, did some yard work, rode bikes, and did school. Pretty fun.
Bryce is 2 and Gabe is 4….love them and miss them !
Last weekend we went to Portland for Addy’s graduation. She had around 600 in her graduating class and she was in the top 10%. (Addy is Roberts youngest)

I have had the privilege of teaching Seminary this year. The course of study was the Book of Mormon so it was especially good. But the best part of the whole year was getting to know the youth. They are tremendous people …even the ones that are 15 mins late everyday.

Grant and Kiley’s family stopped by on their way to the 1/2 marathon in Newport that Kiley ran. We had fun playing with Gabe (4) and Bryce (2).
Bryce figured out how to pedal a tricycle and LOVED grandpa’s tractor/backhoe.

We drove from St. Louis to Middletown, OH. I wanted to say I have been to Louisville, Kentucky so that’s the way we drove. (construction all the way ) But the whole drive is green, lush and hard to see beyond the trees.
Sariah was so excited for her baptism, she had a count down going everyday. I didn’t get a picture of her baptism but she is wearing her pretty white dress in Brailee’s picture.

Brailee took us to the Aerospace museum one of the days we were there. Duane and her went on a simulated flight. All I know as I watched from the outside was it went upside down and around many times.
Brailee wants to fly jets and go into the airforce so they had a great time.

In May we went to St Louis to see Matt and Jenny and to help them remodel their kitchen.
So this is taking the old metal cabinets out….
I thought Jenny was very descriptive on how she felt about renters and gross kitchens
Then they put in beautiful white cabinets and the new countertops are going in soon.
Duane said these (Matt and Jenny) were his ‘cabinet jacks’

Their new kitty, Clementine, was quite entertaining. Oliver loves her to death.
