Duane uses sprinkler pipes to irrigate the fields during the summer. He loves it when he gets help. All the grandkids helped and made it go so fast.
Good times….I’m sure
These are some pictures that are SUMMER for me…

Barb Spencer and family at Nelson’s wedding. Kathleen, Phyllis, Heidi, Uncle Ralph and Louis just to name a few.
NOAH !!
We had a change in the Oregonian in Pendleton so we decided to downsize the ‘shed’. The warehouse we were in had electricity and heat but for just Sunday Only we decided against that expense. So Duane build us a little shed that we put on some property a couple blocks from the old one.
He built it on a 16 foot trailer so we could take it up to the spot. We drove up the road…and it was amazing to watch how he got it off the trailer and put it right where we wanted it. Thanks Duane !!
Duane’s oldest grandson and his wife are having a baby boy in August. So he will be a great grandpa !! They had a shower for Kayla here in Pendleton. (she’s the one in the blue) Shellyne, Alexis and Addy are sister-in-laws. All are so cute.
Some fun time with grandpa and his yearbooks…
We went to Corvallis to watch Lindsy and Ben’s kids while they took a quite get away trip. It was probably the hottest weekend ever in Corvallis, so we spent a lot of time outside with squirt guns, swimming pool and popsicles. We had a pizza/movie night too.
On our way down to Corvallis we went through Heppner (because I have never been there) and Bend to enjoy the scenery. Love the trip when you are not in a hurry.
May:
The difference between May 4th and July 4th. We have enjoyed the broccoli and the peas already and the zucchini and the beans are going crazy right now.
We went to Ohio for Jaylin’s graduation.
She is tall but then she added huge heels. Made 6 foot grandpa look short.
Jace got some 5th grade awards………………………….and we went to Calebs baseball game.
We had lots of fun seeing everyone this spring break.
is it so hard to get 3 kids smiling at the same time…….YES Sadie, Josiah, Jarom and Elijah
My favorite picture of the Draney’s Jenna, Noah, and Kayli in the Gorge.
and at the Beach…Jenna, Noah, Kayli, Andi and Ty.
I have to add a few pictures from our house…..
We took out the juniper bushes in the front and are enjoying tulips this spring.
We raise talented squirrels around here. Notice how he holds on with his hind feet to eat from the bird feeder : /
Cute little Hazel…almost 6 weeks old
Total sugar for our Easter Cake. Thank you Camille for your talent.
We have had a really fun Spring Break with Lindsy-Ben and Family.
Grandpa Duane helped them make Pinewood Derby cars.
Seth helped Noah (Preston) and Matt learn how to make fires without matches.
….and Ben got a good baseball going. Matt, Wyatt, Seth, Noah and Camille
Wyatt, Matt, Thea Halle Brent
We have loved having the trampoline sunk in the yard. Halle and Thea….Josiah, Matt, Jarom & Wyatt. Leslie (Kerns) and kids came on thursday so that added to the fun.
Friday we went out to Jeff’s and helped them lay 10,000 feet of sod in their front yard. Seth is working and Ben is in the orange shirt.
Jeff lives out in the middle of the wheat fields so the boys went to see what was over the hill. Matt, Josiah, Wyatt, Jarom and Elijah.
I love these kids. They don’t care if they are ‘step’ cousins. They have had a great time together. Halle, Matt and Josiah, Jarom, Elijah and Thea, Wyatt, Brent and Lindsy.
The Kevan’s: Matt, Ben, Brent and Wyatt, Lindsy Thea and Halle
(Hopefully I will get a picture of Leslie’s family soon)
