After Christmas fun

This past weekend we have had Leslie/Nathan Kerns and family and Melissa/Travis Stoddard and family here.  (Duane’s daughters)  The kids have had lots of fun.  They love to play games:  board and WII

Morning ‘hoar frost’ walk

This is what Pendleton looks like (from cabbage hill) when we are ‘fogged in”.  So our walk this morning was very pretty because of the ‘hoar frost’. 

The detail is amazing.  So pretty.

December 11

Sometimes I can say that this is a beautiful sight.  This was beautiful while it was falling.  I definitely like it when it is warm enough to snow.  This artic weather of below freezing has not been fun.

Also…. about 2 years ago we made an aquarium for our family room.  We have really enjoyed the fish, frogs, snails, and even a crab (for awhile).  But its pretty exciting ….we just noticed  we have 2 baby snails.  Pretty darn cute !!

Seminary was cancelled ; )

The first snow of the year is always pretty but also scary for everyone.  Especially since the church is at the top of 12th street.  This should melt by this afternoon.

So….how do you get new icicle lights to straighten out when your hang them.  This is what a contractor does.  All 104 clamps !!

Thanksgiving at our house

We had a lot of fun with Andrea’s family, Lindsy’s family and Jeff and family.  We had a ton of food but everyone helped.  Jeff brought the munchies before dinner…..

Meanwhile the boys (Matt, Seth and happy Noah) put together a rollercoaster out of K’nex.  It really worked !

…Brent chilled and Kayli and Jenna set the table for us.  But the majority of the kids had fun on the WII upstairs and their DS’s.  Hours of no interruptions.

Then we all went for a walk, Sterling and Micah got ready for the sales.  Halle and Thea got to play with slime. 

Jenna, Kayli and Noah on another walk we took.  Kayli and Jenna are really the same height, Kayli must have been squatting down with Noah.  It was so fun having everyone here.  Hey for Thanksgiving.

On Novemeber 15, 2013 Derek and Kayla got married in the Portland Temple.  Derek is Roberts son and Duanes first grandson. 

This is what the girls did for Kayla’s bachelorette party.  (Mormon style for sure)

Believe it or not this is the best picture I got of them.  People just kept popping up in front of me so I gave up.
